Kinneret Kohn

Kinneret Kohn is the Manager of Teen Programs at the New-York Historical Society and is currently serving her fourth year on the NYCMER Board. Her previous positions include the Manager of Education & Public Programs and Interim Head of Programs & Visitor Experience at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, the Education Specialist at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and as an Education Intern at the American Folk Art Museum. Kinneret earned an M.S. Ed in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education; an M.A. in International Education Development, focus on Peace Education, from Teachers College, Columbia University; and a B.A. in International Studies from The Ohio State University. Social Justice

Please join us for the last meeting of the school year. We’ll share our best practices/ lessons learned/ projects that center on social justice, in a show-and-tell style. We’ll also have a chance to take a look at the new exhibits at The Noguchi Museum (Changing and Unchanging Things: Noguchi and Hasegawa in Postwar Japan and Gabriel Orozco: Rotating Objects). Lastly, we’ll start brainstorming possible meeting topics and focuses for the next school year. Snacks and beverages provided; please RSVP and hope to see you there!
