Kinneret Kohn

Kinneret Kohn is the Assistant Director for Student Learning at the Art Institute of Chicago.

She served on the NYCMER Board as President (2016-2018), Resources & Social Media Coordinator (2014-2016), and as a Trustee-at-Large (2012-2014).

Her previous positions include Manager of Teen Programs at the New-York Historical Society, Interim Head of Programs & Visitor Experience and Manager of Education & Public Programs at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, the Education Specialist at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and Education Intern at the American Folk Art Museum. Kinneret earned an M.S. Ed in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education; an M.A. in International Education Development, focus on Peace Education, from Teachers College, Columbia University; and a B.A. in International Studies from The Ohio State University. Our first meeting will be held on Thursday September 26, 6:30-8:00 pm at the Starbucks Reserve New York Roastery on 15th street and 9th avenue, which features a full menu in addition to it's coffee offerings. This first meeting will serve as an opportunity for us to meet each other,  reflect on last year's work and set goals for the 2019-2020 year.
