Exhibition Design: Ralph Appelbaum Associates

Hear from three Ralph Appelbaum Associates project managers as they share their expertise on how education and installation can be combined to create a dynamic experience through exhibition design.

Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA) are planners, designers, and producers of award-winning museum exhibitions, visitor centers, and educational environments. Subject areas range from natural history and the physical sciences, to cultural, social, and corporate history, sports, and the fine arts. Founded in 1978, and currently the largest interpretive museum design firm in the world, Ralph Appelbaum Associates has an interdisciplinary staff and is known for their team approach to design. Hear from three RAA project managers as they share their expertise on how education and installation can be combined to create a dynamic experience.

Ralph Appelbaum Associates won the National Design Award in Communications in 2000. See their work and all the National Design Award Winners in the exhibition on view, Design USA: Contemporary Innovation. The exhibition will be open from 5:30 – 6:30 preceding the program.
