Sarah

Sarah Burroughs Informal Educator Turtle Back Zoo

Sarah Burroughs is an Educator at the Turtle Back Zoo in Essex County, NJ. Her experience extends to front-end  programming, evaluations, volunteer coordination, program coordination, zookeeping/collections management, exhibits, marketing, and graphic design. 
 
Sarah has earned a B.S. in Zoo Science, M.A. in Museum Education. To complete her Masters she performed original research studying collaboration and education methods between informal institutions and their communities, entitled Conserving Our Urban Nature: Encouraging Environmental Empathy in Community-Based Education Programs.
