Alexander Tronolone Senior Educator Brooklyn Historical Society

Alex is a born and bred New Yorker who currently resides in Staten Island, New York with his wife, son and puppy. He earned his M.S.Ed. in adolescent special education as a New York City Teaching Fellow at Long Island University after graduating from NYU with a bachelor’s degree in history. He has worked at a variety of Brooklyn cultural institutions, including the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum and the New York Transit Museum. Since 2011, he has lead educational programs at the Brooklyn Historical Society and their partner site, the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92. Currently, Alex is Senior Educator at Brooklyn Historical Society. He is serving on the 2015-2016 NYCMER board as a Trustee-at-large, his second year in that position.
