Organization Description: 
The Museum of Modern Art is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Assistant, Access Programs and Initiatives for a duration of six months to assist with the day-to-day management of Access Programs in the Learning and Engagement Department. This position will assist with all administrative manners relating to programming and other Access initiatives; answer general email and phone inquiries; monitor and manage supplies; assist with monthly and other onsite and virtual programs; assist in research and reporting.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
-Assists with the day-to-day management of Access and Prime Time Programming.
-Assists with administrative aspects of running Access and Prime Time Programs, including program registration and reminders, reserving spaces, recruiting participants, liaising with Teaching Assistants, and program set-up and clean-up.
-Answers general email and phone inquiries for Access and Prime Time Programs.
-Monitors art supply quantities and compiles Teaching Artists and DOE teachers’ requests for supplies.
-Helps to maintain the art supply storage space and classroom spaces.
-Compiles, analyzes, and reports on statistics related to Access and Prime Time Programs for Learning and Engagement, Development Department, and for marketing and outreach purposes.

Additional Responsibilities:
-Assists with set-up and check-in of Access and Prime Time Programs, as needed.
-Assists with administrative tasks related to Access Programs and Initiatives not mentioned above, as needed.
-Assists in developing a database of artists with disabilities.
-Assists with the development of a publication about making museums accessible to people with disabilities.
-Helps with Cullman Education Building exhibition installation of work by students with disabilities.
-Assists with special events.
-Assists in digital archiving.

Candidate Qualifications:
-B.A in Education, Art, Art History, or related field, or equivalent.
-Experience working with a variety of youth and adult audiences required.
-Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
-Applicant should have knowledge of art education and museum programming and excellent communication and customer service skills.
