Making a museum fully accessible is never a simple task, even less so if it is housed in a historic space or a landmark. The Museum at Eldridge Street, one such historic site, is housed in the landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue. Welcoming visitors of all backgrounds and abilities each year, the Museum tells the story of Jewish immigrant life, customs, and traditions from a century ago. Join us for a special tour of this historic site and a conversation where we will share challenges and solutions to make historic sites fully welcome a broader audience.
