NYCMER Meet & Greet at the NY Aquarium

Join us to kick off the NYCMER year! Our annual Meet & Greet will take place at the New York Aquarium, located at 602 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224. Connect with museum professionals while learning about efforts of the Wildlife Conservation Society to protect wildlife both locally in the Hudson River Canyon, and in over 50 countries around the globe. With behind-the-scenes tours, animal interactions and exhibit visits, you’re in for a fin-tastic time!

The New York Aquarium will also be transformed into the Ascarium, offering activities that Meet & Greet attendees can experience from 3pm – 4pm, and you can come dressed to impress in your best Halloween costume!

Cost: Free for members and one guest; $10 for not-yet-members; $8 for student not-yet-members

The entrance and meeting venue of this event is wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are ADA-accessible. Some areas of the grounds may have uneven paths with inclines. There is no main speaker; however, announcements and tours may be shared without the aid of assistant amplification. Please let us know in advance if you need additional accommodations to attend.
