Educator Workshop—Engaging in Social and Emotional Learning

After a year of teaching and learning in new and unprecedented ways, a renewed focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) can help your students develop self-confidence, resilience, and empathy. Hear from special education teachers and Museum educators who created curriculum in New York City District 75 schools, which serve students with significant disabilities. Also gain inspiration, tips, and specific strategies for using The Met collection as a springboard for developing students’ SEL competencies. Open to educators of all disciplines and grade levels.
