Historic Sites Peer Group Trip: Intrepid Museum

Join us on June 26th for a tour of the Intrepid Museum, where we will explore how historic site museums can incorporate multiple perspectives into their educational programs. Located on the west side of Manhattan, the Intrepid Museum promotes the awareness and understanding of history, science, and service from the decks of its storied aircraft carrier. This tour will focus on their newest school program, Exploring Change, their curriculum development project, “Full Muster: Inclusive Histories on Navy Ships,” and their new museum educator professional development, “Exploring Civics Through Historic Spaces.” 

The tour will last 90 minutes, from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
