LGBTQ+ and Allies; ELL & Cultural Diversity; Social Justice; and School, Teacher, and Family Peer Group Meeting

Modeling Safer Spaces with Inclusive Language and Practices.  This is a joint meeting between the LGBTQ+ and Allies, the Social Justice, and the School, Teachers, and Family peer groups. We will share resources for using language inclusive to all gender identities, sexual orientations, and a variety of family structures that may be present in a learning space. To practice, we will work through 3 case studies and debrief to create actionable steps to improve our own work at our sites. Because working through the case studies may require some vulnerability, we will spend the beginning of the meeting creating group agreements. As such, RSVPs and on-time arrival are required. Attendance is limited to 20 participants on a first come, first serve basis.
