Where: Macculloch Hall Historical Museum and Gardens, 45 Macculloch Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960

Time: 6PM

Join your colleagues on Tuesday, May 23, at 6:00 pm at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum in Morristown, NJ to enjoy the collections and gardens of NJ’s most recently AAM-accredited museum, home to the largest collection of artwork by the “father of American political cartooning” Thomas Nast (1840-1902) and an impressive fine and decorative arts collection.

Explore how MHHM makes art and history accessible for learners of all ages and learning styles, from the incorporation of touch objects in the galleries with Braille and audio descriptions, an outdoor Sensory Pathway through the historic garden, online and onsite support materials for families with children and young adults who live with sensory processing issues, and how MHHM engages Morristown’s Spanish-speaking community. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to Sarah Burroughs, NJ Regional Peer Group Coordinator. The museum can be reached by public transit, or ask about a carpool!
