Join the Early Childhood Peer Group meet-up at the New York Historical!

Members are invited to observe the museum’s beloved Little New Yorkers early childhood program in action in the DiMenna Children’s History Museum from 3:30 – 4:15 PM. The observation is limited to 5 current NYCMER members.

Following the observation, all are welcome to connect with Alice Stevenson, Vice President & Director of the DiMenna Children’s History Museum, and program educator Meagan Raker for a discussion about their approach to engaging young visitors, and share ideas with colleagues. The discussion begins at 4:15 PM and is limited to 25 people.

After the discussion, guests are free to enjoy the Museum’s extended Friday evening hours until 8 PM.

Kindly RSVP to Peer Group Leader Laura Kujo (laurakujo@yahoo.com) and indicate if you are interested in observing Little New Yorkers, or will simply join for the discussion beginning at 4:15 PM.

Join the Early Childhood Peer Group to exchange ideas about audience development, program evaluation, pedagogy, professional development, programs for early childhood, family audiences, and more.
