Description: 

Join us in this book club meeting to discuss the evolution of mutual aid, systems of community support that have existed before COVID-19. How can we become involved in mutual aid efforts in the long run, where community members care for one another, and share resources against institutional capitalism? Co-hosted with the Advocacy Committee, we will explore the rise in mutual aid organizations including those in the museum community, and discuss different ways mutual aid can take place.
