Regional Meetup: Staten Island

We’re going on a (virtual) field trip to the Alice Austen House! The staff at the house have recently mounted “Powerful and Dangerous: The Words of Audre Lorde,” and the NYC LGBT Sites Project recently co-hosted a virtual tour. For this meeting we’ll view the virtual tour (available here) followed by a discussion on how we can integrate intersectional LGBTQ history into our museum education practices.
