Leah Golubchick

Leah Golubchick is the Manager of Middle and High School Programs at AMNH, where she has worked for nearly a decade, and is currently serving her second year on the Board of NYCMER. This year, she is excited to lead the Advocacy Committee for the Board and will continue to push for progressive programming that prioritizes museum worker’s empowerment and museums as sites of social conscience. She is also completing her second year of NASTM’s Informal Educators Fellowship, where she is researching the application of Trauma Informed practice on Museum Education.
Leah has taught at museums across the city including the Brooklyn Museum, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum, and in informal science programming in NYC schools. She also was an intern for one very humid summer at the Smithsonian’s National Folklife Festival.She is a graduate of Bank Street Leadership in Museum Education program, speaks Spanish, and loves to travel and try new foods.
